06.11.2008  |  New Studio It's official- Im in my new studio. The owners of the building have done a fabulous job turning what once looked like a condemned space into my beautiful new studio. I am so pleased to have the space for larger groups and family photos. Mosinee seems like a great fit for my business and so far I have been warmly welcomed by community members. Thanks to all my returning clients as well as new clients who have helped Grace In Design expand.

05.20.2008  |  Green Bay 1/2 Marathon I officially completed my first 1/2 marathon. My older sister Kari and I went out to see my Twin sister last Labor Day run the Disney 1/2. We were so inspired by her that we signed up and trained for the Green Bay 1/2. I spent the last 15 weeks training for this and set a goal of 3 1/2 hours. I finished in 2:29:59. My sister Kari and her husband Mark ran with me and kept me motivated the entire way. The last lap through Lambeau should have been the highlight but with my knees about to give out with knife like pain every step I took it proved to be more of a challenge to run through the tunnel. This might be one of the biggest goals I have set for myself- I feel so proud and thought I would share something pretty personal with all of you. More to come as I get ready to open the Studio June 1st.

04.22.2008  |  Wedding Fair Well I successfully made it through my first wedding fair. I had a beautiful display that my mother and husband helped put together for me. I felt like it really showcased my work in a way that I was so proud to share. I met so many wonderful brides, mothers and yes even grooms. A special thanks to all of you who took the time to stop by and get some information. I LOVE what I do and I had a great time meeting you and sharing my passion for photography!!!

03.09.2008  |  The Verdict is in! Well I've done some research and talked to many respected professionals and the new packaging is in place. I've changed some things around, added and replaced items, pricing and hours. I think you will find that I offer great packages at a great price. Every wedding is unique and I can try to customize some special requests. My goal is to deliver what you expect... and more!!!

10.15.2007  |  New Packages!!! I'm very excited to offer new packages. Up until now I have tried to keep things simple, not only for you but also for myself. I am running into more and more Brides that are asking for the "coffee table books" or the "new" style of albums that are out. Im happy to say I can do that!!! I have examples printed to show you and I'm working on trying to include those books with the packages. I will have to up my pricing (most photographers do it once a year regardless) based on the printing costs of the albums but it will be well worth it I promise. I hope to have examples on the site as well so look for that soon. Any questions please contact me, I'd love to hear from you. The package and price change will go into effect 11-1-07. Happy Monday! 07.23.2007  |  Fried Green Computer We have had 3 power outages in the last month and this last one completely fried my home PC. I lost everything, all of my weddings all of my business contracts and forms and all of my pictures of Kael. After sobbing for days and days...ok just a few tears shed, Jeff found a miracle IT guy to help us out. THANK GOD!!! He recovered everything. So..... with that said I apologize to anyone that tried to e-mail me and got nothing back in response. I appreciate those of you who called me to get things figured out. 05.14.2007  |  Back in Action! Well the last time I updated the news was right after we brought our son Kael home from Milwaukee Childrens Hospital. So much has happened since then I feel likes it's been a few years instead of only 6 months. Kael is 7 1/2 months old and makes me giggle all day long. I am so lucky that my business allows me to stay home with him. Yesterday was my first Mother's Day and I couldn't have asked for a better day. Grace In Design has also been super busy. I am so busy with Kael that my marketing hasn't been what I had hoped for, although with the amount of weddings and children's portraits rolling in there doesn't seem the need. I am just about booked for the summer and I have a hand full already for 2008. We just got back from a wedding in Atlanta as well as Kansas. It seriously is so wonderful to spend my time doing what I absolutely love. I am truely blessed!!!! I also booked my tickte out to California not only to visit my Twin but to photograph her in the Disney 1/2 marathon. I am hoping to add that to my portfolio. While I'm out there I have a fabulous opportunity to spend the day training and learning new skills from a wonderful LA Photographer. Hopefully that experience will bring my images to the next level. 11.03.2006  |  My little Monkey Pants For those of you who do not know our son Kael was born on September 21st. He was born with a heart condition and underwent open heart surgery when he was 13 days old. After 3 weeks of the NICU, PICU and 4th floor recovery at the Childrens Hospital in Milwaukee we are finally home and doing well. He is such a joy to spend my days (and nights) with. Stay connected as I hope to have many pictures of him on the site very soon. Megs

09.11.2006  |  Baby on the way! Well as hard as I have been working I will have to take some time off. We are due with our first child in about 2 1/2 weeks. I am making many updates and changes to my website so now that I am home full time (for a while) I can keep track of things on a more consistant level. If you haven't been here in a while please take a look around and see the new pictures and pricing. I will still be making appointments and plan to start back in November so please don't hesitate to contact me for your photo needs.
